In line with keeping things minimal, these are the beauty products I run to for a fresh and bright spring look:
Clarins Daily Energizer Cream – This facial moisturiser has been great for rehydrating my skin after the drying winter months, it leaves me with hydrated but non-greasy skin and no oily shine! Downside is the lack of SPF so I have to wear some separately on top.
Essie ‘One Of A Kind’ – This tropical orange colour gives me ALL the feels! Its a flattering tone, the brightness acts as a natural accessory by adding a pop of colour to all my outfits and it easily helps my mind transport to a tropical beach in Ibiza!
EOS Lip Balm ‘Lemon Drop’ – I have been a fan of EOS lip balms for a while now but I was particularly excited about the SPF in this one – 15 factor! ( can you tell I have a slight obsession?). It has a sweet scent to it and leaves my lips moisturised all day.
MAC Lipstick ‘Twig’ – The lipstick looks darker in the photo above, it is actually much softer in reality, a very creamy shade with pink undertones that applies quite subtly on the lips. I wear it on top of a brown lipliner for more of a nude pop effect. I will point out when I am wearing this in upcoming photos.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen – I love this highlighter. It DOES reflect particles of light from your face, it DOES bless the high points of your face and it DOES allow you to radiate like you have been touched by an angel. Yesss! I wear shade 6, it is quite costly but this has lasted me ages, I actually need to check the expiration date and start thinking of a replacement soon. Also it is quite natural so perfect for a spring I-woke-up-like-this effortless look.
My Marc Jacobs just wanted to be a part of the show, I do wear it all the time and the rose gold colour helps to make it a simple piece of arm candy.
So there you have it folks, my beauty essentials for a fresh and bright spring face! Have you tried any of these products? Leave your thoughts and experiences in the comments! MC x
