The truth is there is only one you in this world. No one can see things the way you see them, feel them, or create them. No one can do life the way you do life. But some people are never taught what their gifts were. You might have never had the space, time, or support to nurture your gifts or see the value in yourself to copying and chasing someone else’s version of success instead of stepping into your own. The world is missing authenticity, the world is missing you! Now is the time to step into yourself. To nurture what you have. You don’t have to be perfect to be successful. You don’t have to be perfect to be successful. So many perfectionists are drowning in procrastination because the pressure to deliver perfectly every time feels suffocating. But did you know that perfectionism can be a trauma response? For many of us, it started in childhood. When love felt conditional and praise only came with achievement. Psychologists have found that perfectionism is closely linked to: • childhood emotional neglect or high criticism • fear of rejection • low self-esteem • anxiety and people-pleasing • a nervous system that learned mistakes weren’t safe But the world doesn’t need perfect. The world needs you! Your value doesn’t come from what you do it comes from God, who calls you His child. So giv yourself some grace.
