I heard it’s the season for making your dreams c I heard it’s the season for making your dreams come true?!😃 Tune in darling, the future belongs to YOU!💖 I was honoured to be invited to a reception on the occasion of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly at The Metropolitan Museum of Art @metmuseum in New York. I left feeling inspired and encouraged by the people, stories and city of New York. I listened to Aissata Camara address the room and share some of her story. An African woman born in the Republic of Guinea, where as a child she survived female genital mutilation before immigrating to New York at 13years old. What a trying set of challenges to overcome, but she did it, and stood before us as the FIRST African woman to hold the position of New York city commissioner for International Affairs. One person’s dream has the potential to bring change and hope to a whole community! Just ONE person having the courage to dream something that might even seem impossible to others can change everything. When you choose to believe in your dream and have faith that God placed you here for a purpose, you do something that changes the trajectory of not only your life but the life of your family, friends, community and the world! Sometimes we are afraid to dream because you think your dreams might not come true or you’ll fail. But what I learned in New York is that when you dare to have the courage to follow your dreams, regardless of whether you succeed or not, it gives others HOPE. And hope is what keeps the world going. So what are you believing for today? What dream do you need to revisit again? What’s the purpose you’re believing God has placed in your heart? This was my first nail appointment since my healing journey in 2024. I spent that whole of that year grieving & fighting through trauma wounds so I thank GOD for pulling me through 🙏🏿 I got Gel-X Almond medium size French & gel white toes which I loved 🤍Only thing missing was a nice lil cup of tea ☕️ and a likkle hand massage for 10/10 🥰 PS: Nails lasted me ONE entire month! 🤯 my toes esp held up til September! Though your beginning was small, your latter days Though your beginning was small, your latter days will be VERY great - Job 8:7 This verse is not just for the poor in wealth or possessions, because it says that YOUR future will be so prosperous that your beginning will seem humble! Whether you started with nothing to your name and no one on your side, or you started as a prince with royal blood and a castle for your crib - GOD says that your latter end will greatly INCREASE! For Job it was a double restoration of his health, his wealth, his posterity, his status, his honour, but above all his FAITH in God. When you go through the dark valley YET you hold on to God, even when nobody can see him in your situation, it gives you something that no-one can take away from you - UNSHAKEABLE FAITH! God specialises in turning situations around!🙌🏿 Last September was one of the hardest seasons of my life as I finally faced and disclosed the abuse I had experienced in my childhood. THIS September I was invited to the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, New York!!!🗽😭 There is NOTHING that is impossible for God! Whatever hardship you’re experiencing right now, be assured that God has not left you. He is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit ❤️‍🩹 A man named Job in the bible lost almost everything he had, but he chose to trust God during the most difficult time of his life. And at the end of his trials, he received DOUBLE what he had lost. Trust God through your season right now and know that just like Job - your latter will be greater than your beginning. That means your best days are still ahead of you! God can bless you in ways that are bigger and better than anyone EVER imagined, even right now he is working for your good! You never know where you might end up in the next year, month or even hour.
