This World Mental Health Day, I took 100 white ros This World Mental Health Day, I took 100 white roses onto the streets of London with one message: you are seen, loved and you are enough. 🌹 So many people are facing dark and difficult times that noone even knows about. Some of us have been fighting battles, both seen and unseen. Others have been waiting for something to change, wondering when things will finally get better. Times are tough and sometimes you just need to know that you are SEEN, loved and cared for. 🤍 That’s why I decided to share some love with the people of London this World Mental Health Day. Because I know what it feels like to be unseen, broken and misunderstood. So much of my life was spent feeling different from everyone else deep down. I could mask it and try to be like everyone else on the outside, but inside, there was this unshakable feeling of brokenness. When you grow up believing that the things that hurt you are normal, or even that you somehow deserved them, you can begin to believe that you’re not worthy of what other people have. That you don’t deserve as much. That somehow, you’re less than. But that belief is wrong. It’s a lie. You deserve kindness and compassion, both for where you are right now and for the journey you’ve taken to get here. No matter what you’ve been through or what you’re going through, always remember: You were enough then. You are enough now. And you will ALWAYS be enough. 🤍 To all the beautiful people I met in London, thank you for sharing some love with me💖 I’m so grateful our paths crossed 🫂 I hope that where there were once thorns, you get to watch beautiful roses of joy, peace and love bloom in your garden 🌹 And if you’re struggling, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. LONDON, YOU ARE ENOUGH!!! 🇬🇧🤍 I had the most amaz LONDON, YOU ARE ENOUGH!!! 🇬🇧🤍 I had the most amazing day celebrating World Mental Health Day in central London by sharing white roses with some beautiful people in the city and reminding them that they are seen, valued and ENOUGH.🌹 I’ve struggled with my mental health for years, but thanks be to God, therapy and the people who have supported me along the way, I’m in a much better place now because someone saw me. Today, I wanted to do the same for someone else and remind anyone who needed to hear it that you are VALUABLE, you MATTER and your life has a PURPOSE. 🤍 The reason I wrote my book - You Are Enough, is to help anyone who’s ever been made to feel like they need to be more, do more or have more to know that you are worthy JUST as you are today🤍 Whether you received a rose in person or are reading this and receiving a virtual one hehe🤭 I hope you know that message is for you too! 🌹 And if we met today, thank you so much for sharing your time and stories with me🫂💖 it meant so much to me and I hope we can stay connected, so please join my healing community for regular newsletters, check-ins and reminders to be kind to yourself, it’s in my bio x I’m SO glad that you exist. Before you rush into the final months of the year Before you rush into the final months of the year trying to tick every goal off your list, take a moment to look back and ask yourself this: ‘Who did I become?’ Not just what did you achieve. Not just what didn’t work out but who did you become through it all? We all have goals and there’s nothing wrong with that, but the world we live in places so much of our value on what we achieve, when the truth is we are MORE than just the things we have. There might be some goals that you had this year that you haven’t reached, but it doesn’t mean that you’re a failure or that you didn’t gain anything this year. Even if you didn’t get what you wanted, there was still someone who you became in the process of wanting that thing, and maybe even letting go of that thing. It could be a job or a relationship, whatever you went through taught you something that you didn’t know or have before. Maybe you became more courageous. More patient with yourself. More discerning. More compassionate. Maybe you learned to honour your boundaries, trust yourself, or get back up after something knocked you down. These things may never make it onto your goals list, but they are still growth. 🤍 So ask yourself: What does the woman who has carried me through these past 9 months need from me now? And whatever the answer is, I hope you give yourself permission to receive it without guilt. Rest, joy, community or even a hug 🫂 You deserve it from YOU first. You don’t have to finish 2026 having smashed every goal to be proud of the woman looking back at you in the mirror.
